Ready in just 5 minutes (plus grilling time), this Loud Mouth Smoked Cream Cheese is the perfect crowd-pleasing appetizer. With just 2 main ingredients and the magic of a wood fire, you’ll get gooey, smoky cheese that’s impossible to resist.
Ingredients
- 8 ounces cream cheese
- 2 tablespoons Loud Mouth ZOWIE! Seasoning (available at your local D’s Ace Hardware)
- Optional toppings: preserves, jam, or honey
Tip: If you prefer a sweeter, milder flavor, swap in Loud Mouth UHH-HUH! Seasoning.
Instructions
- Preheat the Grill
Set your pellet grill to 200˚F with the lid closed—this usually takes about 15 minutes. Prepare a small baking sheet lined with foil or a cast-iron pan. - Prep the Cream Cheese
Place the cream cheese on the sheet or in the pan. Use a knife to create shallow crosshatch cuts about ½ inch deep on top. - Season Generously
Sprinkle Loud Mouth ZOWIE! Seasoning over the top and sides of the cream cheese, making sure it’s well coated. - Smoke the Cheese
Place the baking sheet or pan directly on the grill grates. If your grill has a “Super Smoke” setting, use it for maximum flavor. Close the lid and smoke for 2 hours. - Serve and Enjoy
Remove from the grill and serve warm with crackers or chips. For extra sweetness and flair, drizzle with preserves, jam, or honey.
